I'm just your average hot mess, Disney obsessed mom to two wild boys, four dogs, a pig, and 20 chickens. 12 years ago, I married my high school sweetheart, Russ. Our family moved to small town Gunter, TX last year and we absolutely love it here!
I'm a Registered Nurse part time but I have had a passion for photography most of my life. When I'm not in scrubs, you can usually find me in leggings, a graphic tee and hey dudes because I'm all about comfort! Queso and coffee is my love language! I'm an introvert and usually a homebody but I love a good vacation!!

Growing up, my Mimi was always taking pictures with her 35mm camera and that's where my love of photography began. In high school, I took a digital photography class and was amazed at what you could do with a camera and photoshop. I got my first DSLR and started taking sessions trying to learn everything I could in 2011.
After my son was born in 2012 I decided to open Shanell Reed Photography. I took a break from photography for a while after my second son was born but I missed it so much that I decided to jump back in!
